Lisa Pfeifer, NHCA Educator
I am teaching Spanish, Music, and Computers this year at New Hope. I have an education degree and taught middle school and high school English and Spanish in public and private school for 5 years. Then I became a stay at home mom and homeschooler for the next 18 years. During that time, I taught elementary students in homeschool co-ops and fell in love with all the “fun stuff” that you can do with a little creativity and Elmer’s Glue!
On a personal note, I’m the wife of a seminary man, and the mom to 4 kiddos. My oldest daughter is a honors college student at A&M Commerce, my second daughter is a 10thgrader at Sachse High School and loves theater and choir, my third daughter is in 5thgrade at New Hope and loves to play the Ukulele, and my son is in 3rdgrade and loves spelling and Pokemon. My husband and I both grew up in Christian homes and our parents provided not only a Christian school education for us, but also a Christian College experience. I love homeschoolers, but I also hoped to one day be able to provide a Christian school experience for my children. We found the perfect fit for us at New Hope.
